LOL. Well I remembered it quite well earlier but all I can tell you at the moment is that it featured around From First To Last and I was getting some tattoo with this big guy that said From First To LAst and... can't remember the rest. And my family was stuck on a cliff and a weird lady was telling us how we got there.
I hate to think to far in the future. Of course I do it from time to time, but that's called daydreaming. I know those will never be a reality. In reality I'll probably be in much of the same place I am right now... in my bedroom, living alone, maybe not in this house, but still struggling along in life. It's sad to think like that, but I'm always the pessimist. I see it as not getting my hopes up, atleast this way my world won't come crashing down around me but rather one joyous occassion may last an eternity because I never saw it coming.

They'll perform songs from Zeitgeist and Pumpkins classics plus retool songs that didn't make it onto Zeitgeist and even offer tunes written the day of the show. The shows will give fans a unique opportunity to see the Pumpkins inside the process of creation and operating in the spur of the moment. The band will be taking chances in the hope of taking fans, and their music, to new places.

The eight concerts in San Francisco mark the first time the band has returned to The Fillmore since April of 1994 when they were invited to be the band to re-open the historic venue. The Asheville shows mark the first time the Pumpkins will have played a residency since their four gigs at the Double Door in Chicago in 1994 before the release of Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness. Fans attending the Fillmore and Orange Peel shows are invited to capture the concerts with audio and video recorders.

General admission tickets for these all-ages shows go on sale Sunday, May 20. The San Francisco tickets ($25.00 each) and will be available at 10:00 AM Pacific via www.ticketmaster.com and www.livenation.com. For the Asheville show, tickets ($20.00 each) will go on sale at 1:00 PM Eastern at www.theorangepeel.net or www.ticketweb.com.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets for both shows will be available through internet ONLY. Tickets will NOT be available at either box offices, charge-by-phone or ticket outlets. Two-ticket limit per person. Purchaser must pick up tickets at the box office night-of-show only. Ticket-holders must immediately enter the venue. Photo ID required for ticket pick-up. Tickets are non-transferable. No refunds or exchanges. A service charge is added to each ticket price.

ZEITGEIST (Martha's Music/Reprise)--out July 10--is their first album of new material since 2000's Machina/The Machines of God and the free, digital-only release Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music. ZEITGEIST was produced by Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin, with Roy Thomas Baker and Terry Date working separately on various tracks, and represents the culmination of two years of work.

Look for the band's world tour to get underway May 22 in Paris, France with an intimate show at the historic and elegantly appointed Grand Rex--their first live performance since December 2, 2000. The Grand Rex show sold out within minutes of going on sale.

The Smashing Pumpkins have created one of the most acclaimed bodies of work in music history. Formed in Chicago in 1988, they released Gish, their influential (and platinum) debut in 1991, which was followed by more platinum and multi-platinum albums including the nine-times platinum Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness and the four-times platinum Siamese Dream. The pivotal group's many hits include "Disarm," "Today," "Cherub Rock," "1979," "Tonight, Tonight" and "Bullet With Butterfly Wings"--songs that defined the alternative music era and continue to resonate on modern rock radio, influencing a whole new generation.

Catch up with the band at:

www.smashingpumpkins.com

www.myspace.com/smashingpumpkins

Initial Tour Dates For 2007 (with major headliner slots to follow in Europe and North America all summer and fall):

Date: City: Venue:

Tue 5/22 Paris, France Grand Rex

Thu 5/24 Luxembourg, LUX den Atelier

Sat 5/26 Brussels, Belgium Ancienne Belgique

Mon 5/28 Landgraaf, Neth.

On Sunday I went to one store and bought some big items. One Westinghouse Apollo free-standing oven with all the settings, digital clock and ceramic stove top. I can't wait for it to be delivered and installed. I haven't heard anything yet, but I shall ring tomorrow and see what's the hold up. I was hoping it'd be all-go on Thursday.
I also bought a microwave... just a cheapish one to defrost, reheat, soften butter, cook TV dinners (haha) etc.
And a new vacuum cleaner...a Miele Cat & Dog! My parents and sister have one and they're great. They were on special so I didn't even bother to look at any other brand or model.
I bought all three items in less than half an hour. I had transferred money from my savings to my cheque account before I left home. Now there is a rule about the amount you're allowed to EFTPOS daily - $NZ2000. Well, fate would have it that I had just enough... I EFTPOSted $2000 and then had to put the rest on my credit card (which I had just enough debit for). I have since put all the money back on my credit card. I was being such a good girl finally paying off my trip to Australia to see My Chem.
So, I was one little happy camper. Especially after my flatmate/tenant 'running' out on me.

Following up on that. When I got home from my sisters on Sunday night, she had movied, but hadn't left the key. I rung her cell phone. No answer. I left a message. I then text her too. And hour later I get a reply saying she'd drop off the key in the morning, and she's expecting mail (even though she recieved none while she lived with me) and could I text her when they turned up and she'd pick them up from the letterbox and also would she get anychange back from her bond ($115) after the bills were paid. I think not! I did not reply.

Well, she didn't return the key yesterday. But it was in my mailbox tonight.

Along with Joe Hill's 'Heart-Shaped box'which I may begin reading tonight.

I'm terrible with books. I have shitloads. Shitloads of books that I buy and read a chapter or two and that's it. I'm not a bookworm and I have to be really bored and/or focused to read let alone finish one. Bring on the school holidays because I have a few I want to read... and the last of the Harry Potter's is out soon. Now thatis one I WILL read.
